I have a similar setup... PS3, Apple TV, Cable Box, DVD Player, and Apple Extreme WiFi 802.11n. YUP Gets HOT!!!! The only way is to extract the heat using a fan. Go to Radio Shack and buy a 4" 120 volt fan. Holesaw a 3" hole in a discreet location on the cabinet. Buy a 4" speaker grill to cover your hole. Cheap as hell on ebay, like .50 cents for mine. Really lloks pro and kool! Most important, this setup brought my heat temp from, 98 degrees to 67 degrees! how-do-ya-like-them-apples?

Lastly, this protects your electronics investment!
