watch that youtube video above, i did it in the weekend and it worked perfect.

basically you install the 5 day free trial of MACDRIVE for windows, you then can remove and install the appleTV hard drive via a ide to usb adaptor into your pc, install SSH, put the drive back into the Apple TV and your away.

it sounds confusing at first but its really simple and well worth the mucking around.
