WANTED: broken apple tv?

any broken apple tv's out there you want to get rid of? i'm wanting to do major hardware upgrades, and instead of buying f $400 apple tv and ruining it, i was wondering if someone already ruined one... so i can take it.

anybody?

I have a 40GB that I got for christmas I don't want it and i'll sell it for $300, does that work?
