AppleTV&More Patchstick 2.0 - unlock ATV in minutes !

In an effort to further enhance our products, we created the AppleTV&More Patchstick 2.0. This Patchstick uses a Linux environment to patch your Apple TV with firmware 2.02. It installs all required files automatically, there are NO manual adjustments necessary anymore !
We also listened to our customers and simplified our offerings - now there is only one patchstick version available which provides the FULL functionality for the everyday AppleTV user.
- enable ssh access for remote login into your ATV (through Fugu or Cyberduck); this allows you to just copy files over to it without having to synchronize your files through iTunes
- install ATV Files, a plugin which allows you to browse the folder structure of your ATV and play movies directly from these folders
- install nitoTV, a multipurpose tool that allows you to link network drives, play DVD files without having to re-encode them again and much more...
- install additional audio and video codecs so you are not limited to Apple's native format. You are now able to watch avi, mpeg, wmv etc. movies in native form - NO re-encoding necessary !
- install Couchsurfer, a Webbrowser specifically designed for Apple TV - why browse on your 17" monitor if you can use your 50" Plasma TV ?
- install the Jaman plugin, a tool to watch movies on your ATV which were rented on the Jaman website - why watch movies on your tiny monitor if you can enjoy them on your nice Plasma TV ?
- install the Sapphire plugin, a tool designed to take all the hassle out of managing media collections connected to your AppleTV. Sapphire has the ability to identify TV Shows and Movies simply by looking at the filename.
The Patchstick has to be activated before it can be used. In order to activate the Patchstick, you need a Mac computer and an internet connection.
With each Patchstick purchase, you get a FREE 15 min support session (via email, iChat or Skype) in case you run into issues.

Update on Patchstick !

As you know, we are offering Patchstick 2.1 for ATV firmware 2.1 currently without the automatic installation of nitoTV. The good news - a 2.1 compatible update of nitoTV (version 0.4.8) has just been released and can be downloaded here.
The not-so-good-news - the developer, nito, changed the copyright of the plugin, and right now we are not allowed to deliver nitoTV on our Patchsticks. We are in the process of trying to get permission to put nitoTV back on our Patchsticks.
Although some of the functions of nitoTV can be covered by other plugins, we understand that our customers also want to use nitoTV. That is why we decided to offer a detailled installation manual for the installation of nito TV on your Apple TV with each Patchstick 2.1 purchase. If you are running into problems, remember that you get a FREE 15 min help session with each Patchstick purchase.

Today we can proudly announce to have a fully functional and legal product for all Windows users who want to patch their AppleTV. We were able to provide a software environment that does not require a Macintosh computer at all. All Windows users will be able to benefit from this unique product right now !
Unlike some competitors who announce Patchstick products that never make it to the market, or who ruin their customers' devices on purpose, we are committed to our customers and we kept our promise !
The first WinStick™ bundles have been sent out today to our customers who pre-ordered it and they will soon be able to enjoy the full potential of their AppleTV.
