Default Please help if you can

I am brand new to the forum and am in need of help. I just got a new mac and apple tv. Long story short, after syncing the photos my iMac with the Apple TV, a couple of weeks later, I tried to load windows in boot camp and somehow deleted OS X. The problem that I have is that the time machine back up I had is missing some photos that I had taken more recently. These are on the Apple TV. Can I get them back on the iMac? If so, how.

Thanks for your help!

if you have enabled ssh and/or afp on the appletv, you can mount them on your mac and copy them from the media drive or use scp to copy them on windows. All of you photos should be in the media drive under a folder named either media or photos in a directory structure much like an ipod (ie, folders named P00 through P99.)

If you can access this via afp or a gui scp program, you can copy them to your computer and sort through for the files you are missing.

If you haven't enabled ssh or afp, I'm not sure if there is any way to get them off the appletv aside from taking the disk out and mounting it into a usb/firewire caddy.
