Is my AppleTV Dead? :(

Both from the HDMI and Component video out, on power-up I just get the apple logo and some digital-looking-static on the screen.

I can hold the "Menu" and "-" to try and do a factory reset, and the screen blanks out for a sec, but just comes back to the staticy page.

If it was just one output source I'd say try different cables, but you stated it is the same out of component or HDMI.

If you connect other components (dvd player, cable/satellite receiver) via HDMI or component is the output the same? (possible TV problem?)

If other devices work fine, then I'd say you got a video chip going in your ATV.

One other thing to check, do you have the output set to one of the HD settings at the 50 Mhz setting? Mine looks similar to what you've posted at that setting, but it's a bit more garbled than your picture.
