Can't Buy Movies?

I'm new here, we just got our Apple TV and for the most part really liking it a lot. Is something not set up correctly - we can't find the area on the Apple TV to buy moives, only rent them. By the way, the HD rentals are exceptional in quality. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think you can buy movies directly from the ATV, yet. However, going to the itunes website does allow you to purchase them. Just buy, download and sync it to the ATV and your on your way.

Thanks for the reply. 'Interesting how thr ATV is set up. I've been reading that it is likely Apple will make the "TV" capable of movie purchases in the future. Renting HD and buying a "lesser" resolution movies seems a bit strange.
