I have a 4:3 TV with component inputs but the TV doesn't have "enhanced" mode so 4:3 podcasts appear as 3:3 and widescreen podcasts appear too tall.
The easiest way to describe the hack I need is: I need a hack that will shrink the vertical size of all content by 25%. That will provide the proper proportions at full-width for widescreen content and will letterbox the 4:3 content (which now appears as 3:3) down to 3:2.25 (which is 4:3, letterboxed). Can anyone help? Thanks! |

I think you may have tried to provide an answer but I do not understand your language.
In any case, my solution turned out to be simply re-sizing the content to be 25% shorter in height. Once this was played on the AppleTV, the aspect ratio was fine. I've since purchased a wide-screen LCD TV so this is no longer even an issue. ![]() |
