Default Apple TV - Booted in Parallels VM

Quote:
C0deX and Tr3m_r were able to boot the Apple TV trimmed down version of OSX within a Parallels virutal machine.

The virtual machine had to be defaulted to Red Hat, memory limited to 256MB and the hard disk (from the AppleTV) attached to a 20" iMac running Tiger on the Intel platform.

They are preparing a white-paper style instruction set, which they will release this weekend, more than likely on Sunday.

C0deX indicated that almost every feature worked natively on the iMac, except for a few hardware specific features limited only to the AppleTV's configuration.

We have included a screenshot of the Parallels session
