Default Apple adds Xvid to QuickTime components page

Will Xvid make it to iTunes and Apple TV? They have added the open source Xvid codec to its list of Quick Time components. You can see more details on their website:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resou...omponents.html

The Xvid component for QuickTime allows users to play & encode Xvids in QuickTime Player. Xvid is a video codec library following the MPEG-4 standard.

This opens up a whole new extension of videos that can be played on the Apple TV. We all know the popularity of Xvid and I look forward to soon having this on my Apple TV.
