Default Mind trying to proccess

I just bought a 1Tb drive in order to store my movie collection on it. At this time i am storing the movies on the drive as 1280 x720 res using mpeg4. I am using clone dvd mobile with the output being apple Tv. the purpose of all this i hope is to stream the movies from the external harddrive connected to my computer to the apple tv connected to my tv in other room. Does this sound right.

End game being i can use my apple TV which is connected to my home network to scroll through the movies on the external HD and stream it to the apple tv so i can watch the movies on my tv.

Trying to keep the thought process in line with reality. Can someone please tell me if this is going to work.

Thanks

Newbie to apple TV

Theosh,

would you mind if i email a follow up question. Have 300 movies i want to put on the harddrive and really want to get it right the first time in regards to playing the movies on apple TV....please and thx. Because right now using clone dvd mobile in that resolution it is taking 7 hours per movie. I know that is just not possible so i must be doing something wrong.
